Karting HullMin. Age 8
The perfect venue for petrol-heads and F1 fanatics everywhere, our Hull Karting location is one of the largest purpose build outdoor karting circuits in the country. Built in 2005 at a cost of over £1.1 million, our Go-Karting venue offers you the finest driving surfaces possible - with specialist racing tarmac being laid on the circuit to give maximum grip possible compared to your normal Go-Karting sites. Over 650 metres long, you get behind the wheel of our Biz Evo 2 270cc Petrol karts that can reach over 40mph hour as you go head-to-head against your mates to prove once and for all who the best driver is! With plenty of tight corners and hair raising hairpins there won't be a single dull moment when you tackle our course.
Once you arrive at our track, marshal's will take you through our National Karting Association briefing. You will be given a race suit, gloves and crash helmet.
Our specially designed Hull Karting Location has a variety of different game modes to accommodate beginners, age groups and all types of special events - with a top-of-the-range computerised timing system, as well as a fleet of adult and junior Biz Karts there’s nowhere better to unleash your inner racer in a heart-racing, thrilling, competitive environment.
We offer the chance for participants to take advantage of an array of different activities to test their driving skills. For Kids, we offer the Kids Karting, GP experience and Mini Grand Prix - all in which allow the kids to get used to the Karts before they try to record the fastest lap possible. For the adults, you can take part in either the Grand Prix Endurance, Team Endurance, Monaco GP or the Indy GP. The Indy GP, for example, sees each driver takes part in 3 heats and the computer will try to put you to the front, middle, back consecutively for each of the heats. It will also try to mix up the groups taking part in each heat, but this is dependant on the number of people in the event and works better with more drivers.
At the end of the heats we will have a table of each driver’s accumulated points. If two or more finish with equal points, the computer will work out who had the fastest average lap times and move them to the top. Don't come last unless you want to be the brunt of your groups jokes!
All safety equipment is provided upon arrival and our qualified instructors will be on-site watching the race at all times to ensure rules and regulations are followed.
